PLEASE NOTICE!!! IMPORTANT!!!


If you were a member last year you should have a plastic card that is tan & orange and has Niagara River Anglers emblem on the front and membership card on it with the website address. On the back should be a sticker with your name, the year 2006 and a key number if you are a key holder. When you renew your membership you will receive a new sticker to put over your old sticker on that card and a key if you pay for one. You will not get a new card. We are trying to save money by doing things this way. If you have any questions please email us.

  SPECIAL ATTENTION PLEASE:  
If you would like to volunteer and help out on one or more of our many projects, please make a note on your application. Be sure your phone number is listed and the Chairman of one of the committees will contact you. If there is a particular committee project  you would like to help on, please state which one. To get an idea of what committees that you might be interested in, go to the "Officer's ~ Directors ~ Committee Chairs" page and check the committees available. On that page, the Chairperson's are listed there. Of course we are always looking for new faces to get in and get their "feet wet" and possibly taking over some of these committees. Or maybe you have a suggestion for a new project you would like to chair on.

NO ONE IS EVER ASKED TO COMMIT ALL THEIR TIME ON PROJECTS BUT JUST A FEW HOURS A YEAR WOULD BE A BIG HELP TO EVERYONE. A LOT OF OUR VOLUNTEERS HELP OUT A LITTLE AND GET SO INVOLVED THAT WE CAN'T MAKE THEM GO HOME!  IT IS OUR VOLUNTEERS THAT MAKE ALL OUR PROJECTS WORK.

Projects in dire need of help:

Walleye Rearing
The old guys are worn out. Many new young bodies needed badly.
Salmon Pen Project
Young bodies needed badly as well as people with some time to help feed the baby salmon while in the pens. They have to be fed every couple of hours everyday.
 Special Shows
 Mini Pond Volunteers have tons of fun helping children catch and release fish
Wilderness Preserve 
Users of the Preserve should help here. We need someone help keep an eye on things and use good judgment in reporting violations and general clean up. 

OF COURSE ALL THE OTHER COMMITTEES ALWAYS NEED HELP TOO. IF YOU CAN HELP, THAT WILL GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A BREAK.
