A NOTE ABOUT OUR WALLEYE PONDS
AND WILDERNESS PRESERVE
This 61 acre site was created in 1984 for the sole purpose of raising walleye
sac fry to sizes able to be transferred to the Niagara River for enhancement of
our Niagara River walleye fishery. This is a yearly, continuing project. The
Wilderness Preserve area shown above represents 21 acres in size and was created
through volunteers, for our members and their families. The Preserve provides
fishing, camping, hiking, picnicking, bird watching and other interesting
experiences. Our Grounds Chairman is Ken Jackson.
