EVERYONE HOLDING A KEY TO THE WILDERNESS PRESERVE
SHOULD HAVE A COPY OF THE RULES.
ALL MEMBERS SHOULD HAVE A COPY OF THE RULES AS THEY ARE PRINTED IN YOUR NEWS & VIEWS EVERY YEAR BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS

PLEASE…….PAY ATTENTION AND ABIDE BY THE RULES SO EVERYONE CAN ENJOY

WILDERNESS PRESERVE RULES AND REGULATIONS

Only members and guests of the Niagara River Anglers Association are permitted on premises, and if asked, MUST show your membership card and another form of identification to ANYONE requesting it.

special events allowed unless Coordinator notified and is approved.

333Long Lake Is Now Catch And Release Only "ALL SPECIES" No  Exceptions!                                                            >  >

1.        CHILDREN must be under adult supervision AT ALL TIMES. Repeat. AT ALL TIMES

2.      NO swimming or wading - No float tubes, etc.

3.      Boats-Canoes  O.K. but NO outboard motors. Electric motors O.K.

4.      ALL persons in boats or other vessels MUST have proper USCG approved life preservers.  Also all vessels must be USCG approved. STRICTLY ENFORCED.

5.      CAMPING and FIRES in designated areas only.

6.      NO discharging of firearms.

7.   NO vehicles permitted beyond marked areas. HANDICAP areas are to be left open always

8.      ATV’s, SNOWMOBILES, and other such recreational vehicles PROHIBITED

9.      GLASS containers PROHIBITED.

10. NO loud music or excessive noise permitted. ANYTIME.

11. OVERNIGHT camping only.  - Two nights maximum.

12. DOGS must be leashed from April 1 to October 1.

13. NO bait taking except for own use at preserve that same day.

14. NO sticks, stones, bottles, dogs, cans, NOTHING goes into the Lake, the Marsh or  Rearing Ponds. Take your empty bait containers out with you!

15. THE 10 rearing ponds are to be “looked” at only. They are used for raising baby  walleye. There are no fish in them for recreational fishing, keep out, and do not put ANYTHING in these ponds. No dogs, no cats, no sticks, no stones, etc., etc.

16. RESPECT all wildlife, plants, trees, water, animals, etc.

17 .    GARBAGE IN - GARBAGE OUT - Clean up your area. [We do not have garbage service!]

18. GATE MUST BE LOCKED BEHIND YOU UPON ENTERING AND BEHIND YOU UPON LEAVING. GATE MUST BE SECURE AT DUSK  - NO ENTRANCE AFTER DUSK.

19. NO Night Fishing except when camping overnight.

20. THIS area is not a place for partying, go elsewhere.

21.      YOU are responsible for yourself, your Children, your family and your Guests.

CONSIDER THIS A MEMBER PRIVILEGE - NOT YOUR RIGHT

Any suggestions for the betterment of our preserve will be considered.
The preserve will remain for its intended purpose,
and will remain "primitive" for the betterment of wildlife.
